Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 14, 2026
Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to KOOX AI, an AI-powered service for generating and editing images and videos. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the service.
KOOX AI is the online service available through koox.ai. In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of KOOX AI (the "Operator"). If a checkout page or receipt identifies a third-party merchant of record, that provider is responsible for the payment transaction under its own terms, while these Terms continue to govern your use of the service.
Prohibited Content
You may not upload, submit, generate, edit, publish, share, or otherwise use the service in connection with any of the following content:
- Pornographic or NSFW Content: Pornographic, obscene, sexually explicit, nude, sexually suggestive, fetish, non-consensual intimate, sexually exploitative, or other adult sexual content.
- Violence or Gore: Graphic violence, gore, torture, mutilation, cruelty, or content that glorifies, encourages, or provides instructions for serious physical harm.
- Hate Speech: Content that promotes hatred, dehumanization, discrimination, targeted harassment, or violence against a person or group based on protected characteristics.
- Child Unsafe Content: Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualization or exploitation of minors, grooming, trafficking, or any other content that depicts, promotes, requests, or facilitates harm to a child. This prohibition applies to real, fictional, altered, and AI-generated content.
- Deepfakes or Impersonation: Deceptive or harmful deepfakes, impersonation, fraud, identity misuse, or unauthorized use of another person's image, voice, likeness, or identity in a misleading, exploitative, harassing, or unlawful manner.
- Copyright or Trademark Infringement: Content that infringes or facilitates infringement of copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights, including unauthorized use of protected logos, brands, characters, artwork, or other materials.
Reporting Prohibited Content
To report content or activity that may violate these rules, email support@koox.ai with the subject line "Content Report." Include the relevant content URL or task identifier, the category of the suspected violation, a description of the issue, and any supporting information reasonably available to you. Copyright or trademark reports should also identify the protected work or mark and explain the basis of the reporting party's rights or authority. We will review and respond to complete Content Reports within 14 business days. If a complete report requires additional investigation, we will provide a status update within that period. A report seeking legally required removal or another rights-based remedy may be transferred to the verified request process described below. For such a request, the 14-business-day period begins only after all materials required by that process have been received; incomplete submissions may be denied or closed as described below.
Content Moderation and Enforcement
We may use automated filters, model-provider safety systems, user reports, and human review to detect and assess potentially prohibited content. These measures may operate before or after content is processed or made available, and not every item of content is reviewed in advance. We may temporarily restrict content or account access while a report or safety signal is reviewed.
When we determine that content or activity violates these Terms, we may reject or stop processing it, remove or disable access to it, limit service features, issue warnings, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant records, and take other reasonable protective action. We may consider the nature and severity of the violation, the risk of harm, applicable law, and repeated or attempted violations. We may report unlawful material or conduct to law enforcement, child-safety organizations, rights holders, payment providers, or other competent authorities where required or appropriate.
Use of the Service
KOOX AI provides AI-powered tools that allow users to generate and edit images and videos using text prompts and uploaded media. You agree to use the service in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
User Accounts and Registration
- Account Creation: To access certain features of the service, you need to create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- User Responsibilities: You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
User Content, Ownership, and Visibility
Our service lets you upload or submit prompts, images, videos, and other materials ("Input") and generate images, videos, or other results from that Input ("Output"). Input and Output are collectively referred to as "User Content."
You retain your rights in Input that you own or are authorized to use. Ownership and usage rights in Output depend on the benefits or credits used when the Output is generated. If Output is generated using an active paid subscription benefit or paid credits, then, as between you and the Operator and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you own that Output, and the Operator assigns to you any rights it may have in that Output. If Output is generated using free access or free credits, the Operator retains all rights, title, and interest it may have in that Output, and you receive only a limited, non-exclusive, personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use it.
Output rights are initially determined at the time the Output is generated. If you later successfully complete a purchase of a paid subscription or paid credits that is not refunded, reversed, or charged back (an "Eligible Purchase"), the Operator assigns to you, to the extent permitted by applicable law, any rights it may have in Output previously generated through your account using free access or free credits. This assignment is effective when the Eligible Purchase is completed and remains effective after the paid subscription or paid credits expire. It does not transfer rights in Input, third-party materials, a person's name, image, likeness, privacy, or publicity rights, or any rights the Operator does not have. It also does not require the removal of copies, caches, indexing, or displays lawfully made before the assignment. Output generated later using free access or free credits remains subject to the free-Output terms above unless another Eligible Purchase subsequently applies.
AI-generated Output may not qualify for copyright or other intellectual property protection in every jurisdiction. Output may also be the same as or similar to content generated for other users. KOOX AI does not guarantee that Output is unique, protectable, or free from third-party rights. You remain responsible for ensuring that your Input and your use of Output comply with applicable laws and do not infringe the rights of others. Model-specific terms and third-party rights may also apply.
You must affirmatively select an available Public or Private setting before submitting a generation request. A work is made Public only when you select Public. By selecting Public and submitting the request, you instruct the Operator, as part of the public-sharing service you requested, to make that User Content available through the service's public gallery. Public User Content may be visible to anyone and may be shared, downloaded, copied, cached, or indexed by third parties. Access to the Private setting may require an eligible paid plan. Private User Content is not intentionally displayed to the public, but it may still be processed by KOOX AI and its service providers as necessary to provide, secure, moderate, and maintain the service. Visibility affects display and does not otherwise change ownership or license status.
For Input and paid Output that you own, you grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and transmit that content as necessary to provide, secure, moderate, and maintain the service. For content you designate as Public, this license also includes the right to display and distribute that content through the service while it remains Public. Free Output that has not been assigned to you following an Eligible Purchase remains subject to the Operator's ownership and the limited license granted to you above, and such Public free Output may also be reproduced, displayed, distributed, and featured through the service and in promotional materials.
The Operator will not intentionally select Output that appears to depict a reasonably identifiable real person for featured showcases, advertising, social-media promotion, or other marketing outside the service without additional permission. This restriction does not prevent User Content that you affirmatively designate as Public from appearing in the service's public gallery. You represent that you have all permissions necessary to upload Input and designate User Content as Public, including permissions relating to privacy, publicity, and likeness rights.
Content Deletion
Only users with an active paid subscription may use the individual-work deletion feature. Free users and users without an active paid subscription cannot delete individual works or obtain a manual Public-to-Private change as a substitute for the paid Private setting. This product rule is separate from account deletion, automatic storage cleanup, and verified requests that the Operator is required to address under applicable law.
When an eligible paid user deletes an individual work through the deletion feature, we will remove the work from active display and access through the service and schedule media files under our control for deletion, subject to reasonable processing time, backup cycles, security requirements, and legal retention obligations. We may retain limited records that are necessary for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, enforcement, or compliance with law. Such retained records will not be used to continue publicly displaying a deleted work.
Deleting Public User Content from KOOX AI does not remove copies previously downloaded, shared, cached, or indexed by third parties outside our control. We will take reasonable steps to stop serving the content from systems under our control after a valid deletion request has been processed.
Media files associated with an account that does not have an active paid subscription may be automatically removed from storage after they are 30 days old. This storage policy does not change the ownership or license status of Output and is separate from the individual-work deletion feature available to users with an active paid subscription. You are responsible for downloading any Output you want to keep before the applicable storage period ends.
Verified Privacy, Safety, and Infringement Requests
Ordinary requests to change a Public work to Private, or to delete an individual work outside the paid deletion feature, are product-feature requests and are not processed manually. This does not limit any non-waivable rights under applicable law. Reports involving a reasonably identifiable real person, privacy or publicity rights, minors, copyright or other intellectual-property infringement, unlawful content, or another legally valid ground may be submitted to support@koox.ai with the subject line "Legal Content Request."
The requester does not need to be the user who uploaded the Input or generated the reported work. Depending on the asserted right, a requester may be the person depicted, the parent or lawful guardian of a minor, an authorized representative, a copyright or other intellectual-property rights holder, or another person with a legally valid basis to act. A user's selection of Public and representation that the user has the necessary permissions do not waive or determine the independent rights of a depicted person, photographer, or other third-party rights holder.
A complete request must be submitted in a single email and include all of the following:
- The exact task identifier, or other information sufficient to locate each reported work.
- The requester's full legal name, contact email, request category, relationship to the reported content, and, when applicable, the account email associated with the work.
- A current, legible government-issued photo identification document showing the requester's full legal name, photograph, issuing authority, and expiration date. Those fields must not be altered or obscured.
- A live photograph created specifically for the request that clearly shows the requester holding a handwritten paper displaying "KOOX LEGAL REQUEST," the current date, the exact task identifier of the reported work, and the requester's signature.
- A clear description of the request, its legal basis, the right asserted, and the specific action requested.
- For a privacy, publicity, or likeness request, the identity of the person depicted and original photographs, source files, contemporaneous photographs, publication records, or other reliable evidence linking that person to the reported content.
- For a request concerning a minor, a current government-issued photo identification document for the parent or lawful guardian and evidence of parental responsibility, guardianship, or other lawful authority.
- For a request submitted by a representative, signed written authorization from the represented person and materials sufficient to verify both the representative's identity and the represented person's identity.
- For a copyright or other intellectual-property request, identification of the protected work or right, identification of the allegedly infringing material, and registration records, original files, publication records, creation records, assignment records, or other reliable evidence of ownership and authority.
- The requester's physical or electronic signature, a statement that the request is submitted in good faith, and a statement that the information is accurate and that the requester is authorized to submit the request. Where applicable, the Operator may require the statement to be made under penalty of perjury.
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, the Operator is not required to request missing materials, send a reminder, or provide an opportunity to supplement an incomplete submission. A request that does not include all applicable materials in the first email may be denied or closed without further response. Identity verification alone does not establish that a request is legally valid.
Incomplete, unverifiable, inconsistent, duplicate, abusive, fraudulent, unsupported, impersonating, or bad-faith requests may be denied. The Operator may verify submitted materials and may ask the user who submitted the content to provide evidence of permission, ownership, or another lawful basis, but the Operator will not share the requester's identification document or live verification photograph with that user unless required by law. The Operator may restrict, preserve, disclose, or remove content when required by law or when it reasonably determines that action is appropriate. A summary of the claim and other request information may be shared with the user who submitted the content, service providers, professional advisers, rights holders, or authorities when reasonably necessary to investigate, respond, protect legal rights, or comply with law. Identification documents and live verification photographs will be used for verification, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance and retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. Submitting a request does not guarantee removal, a visibility change, compensation, or any other requested outcome.
Service Intellectual Property Rights
Except for User Content rights described above, the service, including its software, interfaces, documentation, branding, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to the Operator and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You acknowledge that you do not own the underlying technology or intellectual property that makes up the KOOX AI service, and you agree to respect the intellectual property rights of the Operator, its licensors, and third parties.

Pricing and Payments
- Payments are processed through the third-party payment provider presented at checkout, such as Stripe, Creem, or PayPal. Payment method credentials are entered directly into the provider's payment interface. We do not receive or store complete payment card numbers or card security codes (CVV/CVC) on our systems.

- Image and video generation use the same credit balance. Any image and video quantities displayed for a plan are alternative estimates, not separate allowances. Actual credit use varies by model, video duration, output quantity, resolution, and other generation settings.
- We do not add hidden platform fees. Applicable taxes, if any, may be calculated by the payment provider based on your location and will be shown before you complete checkout.
- All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. If you believe you were charged more than once, did not authorize a payment, did not receive the purchased service, or experienced a serious technical failure, contact support@koox.ai with your order details. We will review billing corrections or refund eligibility case by case; contacting us does not guarantee a refund.
- Prices are subject to change with notice to users
- You agree to pay all charges associated with your selected plan
- Payment terms are based on your selected payment method and plan

- Media files for accounts without an active paid subscription may be automatically removed after 30 days.
